Housekeeper Charleston SC Housekeeper – Full Time/Live-Out Formal household seeking a full-time, live-out Housekeeper. The position is full-time, 40 hours/week, and the schedule is Monday-Friday. A mature, experienced person desired with attention to detail, ability to get along and work well with others, and ability to take instructions from supervisor/manager. This position will report to the employed Domestic Couple and would assist them with all housekeeping duties. This candidate should possess previous private-house experience. Must have excellent prior tenure and references and be in excellent health. Local Candidates are preferred for immediate availability. Job Duties: Experience with and great care to be taken with special finishes – Marble, Wood, Granite. Clean the kitchen, including wiping down counters, appliances, cabinet doors, and sinks Wash, dry, and put dishes away Clean washbasins, mirrors, toilets, tubs, showers, and cabinets Wash, fold, iron and put away clothes and linens/towels Dry cleaning management Change bed linens and make beds per owner’s preference Change towels in bathrooms as needed Restock personal items such as tissues, toilet paper, etc. Empty trash bins throughout the residence on a regular basis Remove recycling and garbage from home Monitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacements Monitor grocery and household supplies to maintain adequate levels Pack and unpack boxes and personal travel luggage at owner’s request Meet and greet service providers on property and direct to location of service Clean living areas, including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and mopping Dust and polish furniture and fixtures Run local errands, shop, and manage deliveries as needed Be a companion and/or driver for the principals as needed, especially for the Missus. Salary and Benefits: $65,000 - $70,000 per year depending on previous experience Medical Contribution Standard PTO (2 weeks paid vacation, 1 week paid sick leave)
