FULL AND PART TIME AVAILABLE Prepare and sort materials or products for recycling. Identify and remove foreign substances. Dismantle components of products. Warehouse Staff Responsibilities: • Sort materials, such as metals, foam, textile, or plastics, into appropriate containers for recycling. • Clean recycling production areas by sweeping, raking, picking up metal wire and loose foam debris, or moving barrels and bins. • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, power lifts, or front-end loaders to load bales, bundles, or other heavy items onto trucks for shipping to other recycled materials processing facilities. • Clean, inspect, or lubricate recyclable collection equipment or perform routine maintenance or minor repairs on recycling equipment. • Collect and sort recyclable materials, such as foam, plastics, textiles or metal, into containers. • Deposit recoverable materials into chutes or place materials on conveyor belts. • Operate balers to compress recyclable materials into bundles or bales. • Clean materials, such as foam, metal and plastics according to recycling requirements. • Operate processing equipment, such as bailer or shredder, to sort, crush, or grind recyclable materials. • Operate automated refuse or manual recycling collection vehicles.
