Shy great Dane

I have a black great Dane I'm looking to rehome. We rescued him a year ago but he unfortunately isn't a good fit for our family. He's 2 years old and very timid. He's a good boy, very cuddly. Can sit and shake. But when he gets scared or overwhelmed he forgets his size and lashes out and I have small children. Don't get me wrong he is good with children, not food aggressive at all and has never snipped at anyone, I just think he deserves a family who can work with him better than we can. He's still a playful puppy and I think with some training he'd make someone a great dog. He's crate trained, potty trained and enjoys playing fetch. He is not leash trained and doesn't like collars /harnesses much either. Please text me for any questions or pictures, I can't find out how to upload them here. Marietta/parkersburg area
