Birthday Benefit Concert 🎶 Hosted by Genevieve Fisher & Pacific Northwest Coalition of Minorities 501c3 Fill the boot and raise the roof! At the close of this years 2022 Fire season my 🔥 twin sister and our BFF Valerie will be celebrating our 40th birthday. We want to celebrate by giving back! We are hosting a birthday benefit fundraiser with a flashback concert performance of all things 80s the decade In which we were born at Georgie’s Garage & Grill 606 Broadway St Vancouver, WA. There will be a live band & Vocalist, bar, and presentations by the birthday girls. 100% All ticket sales will go toward a down payment for the purchase and opening of Siddhartha’s Dharma Adult Family home. In closing recently on my way home there was a black man laying in the middle of an intersection lane on a dark street. I nearly hit him. I thought this was someone's son, someone’s husband or someone's father. I put my hazards on in front of him and hopped out of the car. He was drunk and said he had had a stroke. It was so dark anyone could have hit him. I walked him to the sidewalk and got him far off the street. I work in emergency management as a firefighter and a nurse but in this off duty moment I felt closer than I ever have been before to saving someone’s life and it's the best feeling ever, only thing is I need to do more.... Please join us in ending homelessness and creating a compassionate continuum of care for those afflicted by mental illness one person at a time.
