Bassist rebuilding band. The music is original with a few covers; playing music influenced by Rock, Funk, Reggae, Ska, other world music and perhaps Jazz. Collaboration is welcomed and encouraged. There are opportunities for improvising and stretching out to keep it interesting. The tunes are charted and demoed, some using video so we can take the arrangements as a framework and go from there. The initial core would be a trio; as we establish a set we work in a drummer (I know a few), create new audio and video demos to help us get work and then play out. I’m also open to adding other players like: more vocals, keys, percussion but a tight core keeps us efficient and working until we can get there. It would be great to have a mixture of genders, cultures and ages in the band. I’m happy to respond to email, exchange links, chat, text, meet for coffee or whatever it takes to see if we have common goals and musical directions before we play together. I lose interest however in email that lacks information or goes back and forth forever. I want to find folks on the same page and start playing this material again soon. Fully vaxxed.
