ROCK Drummer Needed - Queens of The Stone Age, Soundgarden etc.

Bassist of over 20 years here looking for the right drummer for my band which includes a very tasteful Songwriter/Vocalist/Rhythm Guitarist and a badass Lead Guitarist. The band has over 3 albums of material to draw from and is looking for the right person to move forward with new tunes and further gigging. Unfortunately, our longtime drummer moved to a distance where he could no longer commit to regular rehearsal. It was amicably decided that it would be time to part. We are in our 30's and 40's and ideally would like to find someone in that age range. This is not necessarily a deal breaker. The main concern is that you are a serious player with a taste for loud 90's esque rock (Soundgarden, Queens, Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Fu Manchu, Toadies etc.) We are easy going as people but very serious about our music. There are no drug problems, inflated egos or dramatic personalities to be found here. We value a good hang alongside high quality performance. We have a secure lockout downtown and we'd expect someone to move in, share costs and rehearse at least once a week. Gigging will be often. If things work out, you would be considered an actual member of the band, not a hired gun. The opportunity to record on new tunes is right on the horizon.
