Pop Punk/Metal band looking for Drummer and Bassist

Hey guys! We’re a couple of guitarists/vocalists/songwriters that have started jamming and writing recently and we’re hoping to get a full band together for our project. We’re really into all the skate punk stuff like NOFX, Strung Out, Bigwig, and A Wilhelm Scream as well as straightforward Pop Punk like Neck Deep, Blink182, and early All Time Low. We’re also really into heavier bands ranging from thrashy stuff like Slayer and Death to more technical bands like Protest the Hero and Dillinger Escape Plan. We’ve been aiming to fuse the speed and melody of skate punk/pop punk with the heavier, more technical stuff with the songs we’ve been writing. Generally, things fall in somewhere in the middle, although we do have a few songs that lean more heavily one way or the other. As it says in the title, we’re looking for a bassist and drummer, if you do vocals too that’s also welcome, we’re looking to incorporate a lot of vocal harmonies. We’re looking for players who know their way around their instruments at least reasonably well, as some of the guitar parts we’ve been writing are a little more involved, but don’t let that discourage you! We’ve been getting together on Sunday nights and are hoping for a weekly practice and gigging maybe once or twice a month or so once we get things going. We have a jam spot with our cabs, a bass rig, drums and a PA so just bring your bass/sticks/whatever else you might need to jam with us. Let us know if you’re interested!
