We are a woodworking company that is looking to hire for full time, woodworking, finishing and assembly positions. Experience is helpful, but we can train the right person. We create a wide variety of wooden gift products for wholesale (you can checkout www.dolesorchardboxshop.com to see some more of our work) From shelves to rustic apple crates, to champagne flute boxes and high end gift boxes. We also make a lot of laser-cut products that require more simple wood preparation and assembly of small parts. Careful attention to detail and safety when using tools is most important! This position does includes a lot of basic assembly of small parts. You must be able to sit a focus for long periods of time. There is variation in the job, with many different types of products to build, you may be trained to help run the laser machines, which requires using a computer. You may be asked to sort parts, file paperwork, packing and labeling products, etc. Wood prep may include sanding, staining and/or oiling pieces of plywood. There may be some more traditional woodworking available at times as well, using basic table and chop saws, nail guns, and sanders.
