Vocalist/guitarist looking to start or join a twangy rock and roll band. I just moved to Rockland cty., and am seeking like minded musicians, with the intention of gigging. I've got good gear, I can sing and harmonize, I play pretty well, and I do some writing too. Some of the artists I'm into, and know their music are- Uncle Tupelo, Son Volt and Wilco, Whiskeytown/Ryan Adams, The Jayhawks, The Stones, Petty, Steve Earle, Johnny Cash, Waylon... Those are some, and there's a whole lot more, but I'm wide open to upbeat, fun to play, crowd friendly tunes, that people know, but maybe haven't heard in a while. There's really so much that could be done... Get the people on their feet and moving, and for the band, have a great time doing so!
