Job Description The RV Delivery Specialist is an integral role within our team. This person demonstrates operation of the camper to purchaser on day of sale, ensuring a smooth delivery process and transition from dealership to customer. RV knowledge / RV industry experience is key, and required. We offer a comprehensive benefit package including generous PTO, medical, dental, vision, disability, HSA, and life insurance. $18-19/hr, plus bonus. Key Responsibilities: · Assisting with coordinating sold units in preparation of delivery day for customers, working with Service, Sales, and Detailing to ensure unit is ready for delivery to the customer on day of pickup · Demonstrating operation of campers, I.E: stove, refrigerator, stairs, hitch hookup, generator, etc., and explain the “how to’s” and “how not to’s” of ownership. · Making sure client knows proper settings and use of brake controllers as applicable. · Verifying lights and proper hook up is completer for safety of client and others, Everything MUST be safe and legal I.E. proper placement and display of temporary tags. · Ensuring Service and Parts department are well informed as to the expectations of the client, and the deal, so delivery day goes smoothly for all parties. · Creating a fun and enthusiastic environment according to TGORV guidelines during walk thru, ensuring clients maintain enthusiasm for their purchase, and their high regard for TGORV, as best in class in the industry. · Providing a list of items necessary to the client to have, to properly use their camper to it’s potential. · Acquiring a photo of the clients with their new camper for social media celebration postings and requesting online reviews from clients; (Google/Yelp/Facebook) and following up to confirm 5-star rating. · Other Duties as assigned. Job Requirements: · A background in the RV industry, or the knowledge of the working parts and systems of different types of campers is required. · Excellent communication skills · Outgoing and positive demeanor · Professional presentation · Acute attention to detail required
