Adams County Department of Public Works, main office located in Ritzville WA, is accepting applications for the following positions: Engineering Technician Maintenance Worker I-Lind Maintenance Worker II-Ritzville Custodial/Maintenance Technician-Othello Solid Waste Attendant- Bruce Equipment Mechanic-Othello Please note: Applicant must submit a completed job application form. Job Description Assignments will involve working outdoors in all weather conditions while performing activities requiring labor and/or operation of power equipment. Requirements • Must possess a valid Washington State Driver’s license • Some positions require a valid Washington State Class "A" commercial driver's license (CDL) • Some positions require a Washington State Flagging and Traffic Control Card within the probationary period • Must be able to obtain a Medic First Aid (CPR inclusive) card within the probationary period • Able to work in all types of weather conditions Wages and Benefits • Wage range $19.65-$25.58 • Cost of living increases as well as pay scale increases • Ten regular paid holidays are offered • Two floating holidays each year • Sick leave and vacation time accrued monthly • Full Medical and Dental benefits • Retirement plan Hours of Work • Forty (40) hours per week How to Apply Applicant must submit a completed job application form; a resume in lieu of filling out the application is not acceptable.
