Description
Looking for handyman to hire on an hourly basis to help with a couple of rental properties for a small landlord, not a big company with big budget. Need someone reliable who is willing to quote an hourly rate. If you can't reply with an hourly rate please don't reply since that's what we're requesting. We aren't looking necessarily for the lowest hourly rate but hoping to find someone who is qualified, can track their hours and receipts accurately, and work on that basis independently.
Typical jobs include painting, minor turnover repairs, trips to home depot for supplies. Knowledge of plumbing and electrical a big plus but not looking for someone to fully replace an electrician or plumber. Willingness to do exterior work like fence repair, yard maintenance also a plus. Must have transportation, basic tools (we can provide or rent more specialized ones), and again, be reliable, good at communicating availability and time frames to complete the work and meeting those expectations.
Ideally looking for a long-term situation, not just for one job. If someone does a good job, there will likely be ongoing work. Looking for someone who maintains work as a freelance handyman with other clients so after this job you would be available for future work. Typically we have 1 to 3 turnovers per year, and other maintenance needs throughout the year.
Please reply with your experience, skills, hourly rate, availability, and any other information you think might be relevant.
Thanks!
