Our team is rapidly expanding, and we’re searching for a driven Outside Equipment Salesperson! The Outside Equipment Salesperson will be responsible for planning and executing sales calls on existing accounts and making cold calls to close sales of medium to heavy duty truck equipment. The ideal candidate will have sales and quoting experience and a working knowledge of truck equipment components.
As an Outside Salesperson, you would:
• Initiate outgoing cold calling and emailing to potential customers, schedule in-person sales appointments, and follow up on client requests for information
• Schedule and perform product demonstrations with potential customers
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
• Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers
• Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales
• Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic
• Generate and submit sales reports to management
Ideally, you will:
• At least 2 years of customer service/sales experience
• Possess a positive attitude
• Be highly organized and motivated
• Able to problem solve and multitask
• Able to communicate and work well with a diverse group of individuals
• Possess a valid driver’s license
Experience with heavy duty equipment preferred, but not required
