Rever Motors is looking for an experienced Auto Mechanic to join our growing team! You will be exposed to a variety of vintage and rare cars. Maintaining and repairing vehicles will be your main job. This is a full-time, hourly position offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to join a great team. Our shop is located in Water Mill, NY.
AUTO MECHANIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Evaluate and diagnose repairs and upgrades
• Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
• Completing preventative maintenance on vehicles, such as performing oil changes, flushing,
replacing fluids, and replacing brakes
• Keep logs on work and issues
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proven experience as an auto mechanic
• Working knowledge of the techniques and procedures to diagnose mechanical and operating problems in vehicles
• Knowledge of shop equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Must possess a complete set of mechanics' hand tools
• Valid certification (e.g ASE) is a definite plus
• 2 years of experience REQUIRED
• Valid Driver’s License REQUIRED
• Must be legally eligible to work in the US
