Meet Tucker. He's a beautiful, lovable 10 month old border collie. We adopted Tucker from a farm, where he was an outside dog. We kept him outside as well in a section of our yard with a large playhouse. He's very comfortable outside, but he also wants to be with his family. Unfortunately, we don't have the time available to give him what he needs. So he has become bored. He would love to be with people more of the day.
He's good with some basic commands: sit, shake, down. He's an older puppy at ten months, so he's still got plenty of energy. He loves walks, cuddling, tummy rubs, treats. He enjoys learning new commands and seems perfectly trainable. He's 48 pounds, fully vaccinated, with a great bill of health. He is very comfortable in a crate, with someone nearby. We haven't tried crating him alone yet. He's quite good on walks, unless he sees a squirrel. But very polite to other walkers and dogs. Also great if you want to run with him, which I have been doing. He's also been good on drives in our van.
If you adopt him, we can also give you his crate and crate pad, extra treats, leash, collar, and stake lines.
Location: Boise, off Eagle road. $200 rehoming fee.
