Urban Bird Services is located in the Dallas area and has an ongoing contract in Tempe AZ that we are looking to subcontract to an individual or company. You will only be required to work 2 days per week, about 2 hours each day. The pay is $150. per day/service or $300. per week... again, for only about 4 hours of work. The job involves the safe and humane removal of pigeons that are being relocated to another location for the safety of themselves and the general public. You will need to be able to safely climb ladders, walk on low rooftops, and handle pigeons with gloved hands. You will remove them from their cages, band one of their legs, then transport them by vehicle at least 10 miles away and release them safely. All training and equipment is provided. You must have a reliable vehicle to transport a small tote the 10+ miles; no public transit is allowed. Gas and mileage will not be paid, which is the reason the pay is so high. The days to work are your choice but must be consistent, and must work day 1, skip day 2, work day 3. Examples: Work Monday and Wednesday. or Work Thursday and Saturday. etc. Times for work are also your choice, but again, must be consistent and between 7am - 6pm. This is the perfect job for a student or someone looking for extra money. Again, you must be in good enough shape to climb a ladder safely, and must have a vehicle. No alcohol or drugs before or during work. No felony convictions. This is not temporary; looking for someone reliable. Paychecks are every other Friday.
