Description
Seeking an activity partner and mentor with experience in hiking, backpacking, climbing, whitewater boating and survival/bushcraft skills for an active young adult on the autism spectrum. Other interests include martial arts, meditation, current events, nerd culture and eating out.
This is not a bring-your-dog-to-work position!
Should have a relaxed, nonjudgmental attitude and personality.
Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to pass a criminal background check.
CPR/First Aid and other training necessary. Training time is paid.
Valid driver's license, clean/safe driving history and reliable transportation required. Use of employer vehicle during work hours, including gas, is provided.
No medical or personal care tasks are involved in this position. The focus is companionship, growth and fun.
Pay is $18-$20/hour, approx. 20 hours per week including one weekend day.
