Michigan MultiKing - Maintenance Technician Job Description Michigan MultiKing is currently looking for a dedicated, energetic Maintenance Technician to join our team. This individual is responsible for maintaining equipment in all of our restaurants, ensuring compliance with basic repairs and facility improvements within a district area. Maintenance Technician Position Summary: The Full-Time Maintenance Technician’s duties include after hours on-call and emergency availability when needed. They are responsible for preventative and routine maintenance of equipment, buildings and grounds of the restaurants in their district area, maintaining operational standards and procedures in an effective and efficient manner. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: • Ability to trouble-shoot restaurant equipment and capable of reading a schematic. • Respond to emergencies including nights and weekends to correct unsafe or hazardous conditions. • Miscellaneous plumbing, electrical, light equipment repair, and perform a variety of carpentry functions. • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with safety and legal regulations. • Partner with management team on various projects/tasks as needed. • Support outside vendors when necessary. Role requirements: • Basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills. • Some experience working with HVAC systems, electrical systems, refrigeration and a variety of cooking equipment platforms. • Requires a valid driver’s license. • Must have your own dependable car. • Be mechanically inclined and have the ability to work independently.
