Legal issues concerning the suspension of the 8th Amendment

There are serious legal hurdles that need to be addressed prior to a grant of certiorari on our motion to suspend the 8th Amendment vis-a-vis Donald Trump's yet to be scheduled execution. First, we must have him charged, tried, convicted and then sentenced to death...all constitutional guarantees must be strictly adhered to. Once we have him on death row, then we move forward with the "cert" actions. I guess you could say, then we pounce...LOL. The argument will be predicated on the fact that at trial the government was able to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Trump; et al. attempted to destroy the very foundation of American democracy: a free, fair, and widely accepted electoral process. By calling into question the outcome of the election - an election he LOST in a landslide - Trump was attempting a coup that would place all constitutional rights for all her citizens in maximum peril. Defending those rights in the future through the use of the maximum criminal penalty deterrence is the basis for our application of certiorari. Wish us luck.
