All Star Labor & Staffing is seeking a Electrician & Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing client in Stayton, Oregon. These positions have the following shift available: Swing: Grave: Monday-Friday 10pm-6am. $35.19-$40.93/hour DOE $2,000 Signing Bonus! This client produced engineered wood joists, laminated veneer lumber (LVL) and assembles job packages for delivery. Minimum qualifications: -LME (Limited Mechanical Electrical) License Required -Equipment maintenance or related experience -Basic computer skills -Must complete in hours Maintenance Assessments or Continuing Education Program -Willing to progress in getting an Oregon Electrical Supervisor License -Team player with positive attitude to help achieve department production goals -Be safety conscious and motivated to exceed safety goals. -Availability to work independently with minimal supervision Would be a plus: -Experience programming PLCs, PJ (Plant Journeyman), or J (General Journeyman) License -Experience with LVL (laminated veneer lumber) or within Lumber Industry -High School Diploma or GED -Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Job Duties: -Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, Veneer Clipper, LVL Presses and I-Joist line -Fabrication, welding and cutting -Use computerized system for timesheets -Order parts & Maintain Equipment -Communicate with vendors -Drive Forklift -Overtime hours as needed Work Environment: -Ability to occasionally list/move up to 50 pounds. -Ability to frequently walk/stand for prolonged periods of time. -Ability to occasionally bend, squat and/or stoop. This is a loud work environment with moving mechanical parts, being alert is important. Occasionally may be exposed to outside weather conditions. Benefits after hire date!
