Flow Tech II FULL TIME 1st shift 6am-2:30pm MUST HAVE EXPEREINCE (1 year minimum) Summary of Position: This position tests, calibrates, and repairs measuring and indicating instruments for conformance to established standards. Sets up equipment for tests and measures accuracy of instruments used to record rate of flow. Adjusts instruments to calibration standards. Has strong working knowledge and understanding of calibration process and may work under minimal supervision. II. Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions: • Tests, calibrates, and repairs all general production measuring and indicating instruments for conformance to established standards. Requires minimal supervision. • Measures parts for conformity with specifications using precision measuring instruments. • Performs experiments or tests which may require nonstandard procedures and complex instrumentation. • Modifies standard equipment to meet special technical requirements. • Records, computes and analyzes test data. • Prepares reports and records on calibration, inspection, testing and repair activities. • Troubleshoots malfunctioning equipment and makes repairs as needed. • Observes and complies with all safety regulations and company policies. III. Other Responsibilities and Functions: • Operates powered industrial truck (forklift) to load and unload material. • Teamwork: Establishes and maintains productive working relationships. • Cleans and performs routine maintenance on experimental or test equipment. Maintains clean, orderly, and safe work area. • Assists with the training needs of team members and provides on-the-job training where appropriate. • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. • Customer Focus: Consistently keep internal and external customers highly informed as necessary. • Continuous Improvement: Enthusiastically participates in all DBS activities related to position. • Maintains a commitment to teamwork and a positive, supportive attitude to all personnel. • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. • Know how to use Basic Hand tools and Air Impact guns. IV. Education and Experience: • Experience: Minimum 1 year working experience. Manufacturing working experience preferred. • Education: High School Diploma or GED; Associates Degree preferred.
