The number one qualification for this job is that you're able to do repetitive manual labor quickly. If you're not the type of person that can do physical work at a fast pace for 8-10 hours a day, please don't apply. Hodgins Harvest is a small, certified organic mushroom farm based in Rockland County, NY. The majority of the mushrooms we grow are maitake, black poplar, a few different varieties of oysters, shiitake, chestnut mushrooms and lion's mane. We specifically need someone to fill a Thursday shift starting October 20th and going through early December. You'll be inoculating, mixing and packing up mushroom grow kits to send off to our fulfillment warehouses as we stock up inventory in advance of holiday shopping season. There's a least another shift or two per week that we could use you but Thursdays are a must. We're a small team of dedicated fungi enthusiasts looking for a key piece to making this farm run smoothly.
