It's OPEC, Not Biden

Balderdash! We were energy-independent when Donald Trump was President. What changed? The election of Biden. Under Biden the fossil fuel spigots were turned off and this dramatically drove up prices. We are dependent once again on OPEC. By the way, it is OPEC+ so it's the Saudis plus the Russians who are now going to cut back production, Oil prices have gone up about $10 in the last couple of days. If they cut back on 2 million barrels per day, which is what is being discussed by insiders, that will raise the price of oil by probably $15 or $20. It will jack up gasoline prices across the country. It’s really an incredible miscalculation for us to be put back into the Stone Age where we depend again on the Middle East, OPEC countries and Russia. That is only possible because Biden has turned off the spigot. We are producing almost 3 million barrels a day - less than we were pre-COVID, pre-pandemic. That is a bad story.
