A Cut Above Mobile Dog Grooming is seeking an experienced Dog Stylist to join our team! Looking for a full-time dog stylist to work in our new mobile grooming salon. You will be a full employee, as this is not a contractor position. Our mobile grooming business clients are like family! We’re launching a new truck and trailer and are looking for a groomer to help keep it booked. All grooming appointments are booked online and we provide an admin, so the groomer’s main responsibility is to interact with clients and provide high quality grooming for dogs. This is a full-time employee position with the potential for benefits. Salary based on number of clients served. (PT hours + great base pay for the first 3 months while training.) Looking to have new groomer begin training early November. Responsibilities: • Interact professionally and effectively with our clients • Independently prioritize your time • Maintain a clean and healthy environment for you and our dog clients • Bathing dogs of all sizes and breeds • Brushing and drying all dogs in a safe and timely manner • Trimming nails, cleaning ears, and removing eye crust • Following instructions from business owner • Identifying and notifying the customer and owner of any abnormalities • Cleaning grooming trailer after use and ensuring a clean and safe working environment Qualifications: • At least 5 yrs experience with dog grooming, all coats, and breeds. We need to be able to see your portfolio. • Clean driving record. • Able to pass criminal background check. • Experience driving a truck + trailer preferred but not required. We’ll train you if needed! • Provide work references from other grooming salons. • Must have great communication skills and attention to details. • Time management skills to keep on schedule. • Must be reliable and independent.
