Week 1 October 20th: Let’s talk (and test) your baseline! Heavy lifts, double-unders, and box jumps. Learn the foundation and find out where you are starting from in regards to your personal pelvic health. Highlights: Connecting to your deep core and pelvic floor with breathing. Week 2 October 27th: All about running! Come learn what goes into running form (and how to work on it) and how that influences your pelvic well being. Highlights: Running form, impact screen, getting back to activity postpartum. Week 3 November 3: Double-unders, box jumps & heavy lifts. Impact shouldn’t be scary! All hard things take practice and these movements are no different. Should you be scaling? How do you know? Highlights: Progression of impact, modifying load, breathwork training as it relates to function Week 4 November 10th: OLY lifting, squats, deadlifts, oh my! These are challenging movements and your pelvic floor should be the least of your worries. Highlights: Bracing for your pelvic floor, when (and how) to use a weight lifting belt, tips for when to go heavy and when to hold off. Week 5 November 17th: Wrap up! Let’s talk about what worked, what didn’t, and where you can go from here. Highlights: Retesting from week 1, modifying as needed, making a plan to support all things pelvic health and wellness in the gym.
