Ceromancy, or performing divination with candle wax, is a long-practiced form of fortune telling by reading the wax both during and after burning. This type of divination is practiced by many cultures and traditions, including those in the Ukraine, Carpathians, Slavic and Balkan countries, as well as Ancient Greece, Egypt, Middle East and the Celtic regions of Europe. This class focuses on how to work with wax for the purpose of divination. It is a hands-on workshop where individuals attending will be given the opportunity to perform various exercises in wax divination themselves.
