Homebrewed Comedy hits the stage at Tap House 66 in Johnson City on Thursday, Nov. 17. Paul Spratt is headlining the show and Chris William is joining host Mike Peters. The show starts at 7 p.m., and tickets are $5 at the door, which opens at 6:30. Come out and enjoy the show. About the comedians: Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters performed at the Funny Bone in Syracuse, the Greenwich Village Comedy Club in New York City, won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske, and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcast, On the Mic with Mike Peters. Shamokin comedian Chris William has been on stage for about a decade. A host of three podcasts, RiffBusters, I’m Annoyed and Up and Up, William is a storyteller, who’ll keep you entertained by spilling chunks of his damaged soul. A part-time host of the M.U.L.L.E.T. Open Mic in Lewisburg, Pa., William has traveled all over Pennsylvania to make people laugh. He’s a producer and host at the Cherokee Tap Room in Danville, Pa. Paul Spratt has worked in clubs in the tri-state area and scored well in comedy competitions and festivals. Before moving to New York, Spratt began honing his craft in Scranton, Pa. Spratt recorded his first full-length comedy album, “F**k Yeah! Paul’s Here,” in 2017. He’s been featured on Comcast and Sirius XM. He performs at comedy clubs all over the East Coast and is a regular at the Funny Bones in Hartford, Conn., and Albany, N.Y., and Wise Crackers in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
