The Highlands Ranch Cultural Affairs Association is proud to present a three part series of classical music showcasing the rich history of the Mansion. Each evening will include an hour open house for self-guided Mansion tours. The performances are set to be intimate in the solarium filled with the history of the Mansion. November 8: Majestic Cello While the string quartet has been known as the ideal combination of 4 voices, adding an additional cello brings out a new level of richness and expression. Come bask in the beauty of the tenor voice of 2 cellos with the Cello Quintet. First, we’ll present a rarely heard romantic gem by the composer Alexander Glazunov, written during the early years of the mansion’s history. This is followed by the iconic and famous Cello Quintet by Franz Schubert, a work of mastery and beauty that shouldn’t be missed.
