Calling all Service Unit Delegates, Board Members, Board Nominating and Development Committee Members, Volunteers and Guests, please join us for the 2023 Annual Meeting, in person, at the Clarion Inn Conference Center, located at 1500 Louisiana 30 W, Gonzales, LA 70737. The event is from 9:00 a.m. - Noon, with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. Breakfast will be served. Delegates you are important! It is vital that your service unit be represented at the Annual Meeting as they ensure your Girl Scouts’ voices are heard – both volunteers' and girls'. Delegates are your Service Unit’s direct link to the Council Board of Directors and they have the opportunity to influence the strategic direction of the Council. What happens at the Annual Meeting? Elect officers, Directors at large, members of the Board Nominating and Development Committee; and every three years, the delegates and alternates to the National ConventionConsider any proposed amendments to the bylaws.Provide input on key issues affecting the Council and the Movement.Consider any other business appropriate to come before the corporation in accordance with the process established by the Board of Directors.Any questions or concerns, please contact your Membership staff member or Christy David at [email protected].
