Class Information: When: Sunday Oct. 23rd from 2pm-6pm Location: Little Penelope's Cookie Boutique Cookie Classroom: 912 Homestead Dr. Keller, TX 76248 Advanced Haunted House In-Person Cookie Decorating Class This advanced in-person cookie decorating class will focus on decorating cookies using royal icing with aa heavy emphasis on applying various texture techniques, airbrushing and painting. I will teach you how to decorate these 5 cookies pictured to create a fun haunted house puzzle cookie! At the end of class, you will go home with your 5 decorated sugar cookies in a bakery box along with a swag bag including some of your class supplies, my royal icing recipe and a great cut out cookie recipe. **Basic royal icing knowledge is recommended prior to taking this class. Techniques taught in class will include: How to cut disposable icing bags How to outline cookies using outline consistency icing How to flood cookies using flood consistency icing Creating texture on cookies Air brushing cookies for depth and dimension Airbrushing cookies using a stencil How to use dry powder food coloring to paint on your cookies How to apply wafer paper designs to your cookie How to create textures in royal icing including brick texture, wood grain texture, and concrete texture. The class is held on the second story of my home in my cookie classroom. You must be able to navigate a single flight of stairs in order to participate in the class! This is an advanced cookie decorating class geared towards those with basic experience with royal icing cookies. However, those with little to no experience decorating cookies may also attend! Kids 12-15 are welcome with an accompanying, paying adult (must purchase two tickets). **A minimum of 4 people must be signed up for class in order for it to make! I will send you directions and further information via email once the class makes. ** No refunds will be given for class cancellations less than two weeks prior to the class. I reserve the right to cancel the class if the class does not make, or if I am unable to teach the class due to illness. If I have to cancel the class, I will provide a refund. Hello!
