(no refunds after this date) Members: $24.50/Guests: $25.50 (includes tax and gratuity) (EventBrite fee additional) February 14, 2022 - 11:30am Social Time, 12:00pm Lunch & Program - Cash Wine and Soda Bar Program: A Treasure in the Heartland by Heather Adamson Stockman Heather has devoted her life and spent several years collecting photos for “A Treasure in the Heartland”, a book celebrating what was once billed as the world’s largest bagpipe bank. The Scottish Highlanders have entertained at Iowa football games, local events and the book details the UI bagpipe band’s history. Heather, a former dancer from 1964 to 1968, was among the alumni leaders who have worked to preserve the groups’ rich history. She will share her vast information and stories of the UI bagpipe band and her family connection. Menu: Tender, boneless sauteed breast of chicken, topped with Chef’s own Marsala wine sauce, sliced musthrooms, and onions. Served on a bed of fettuccine and seasonal vegetables. House salad. Regular and decaffeinated coffee, tea, and water. Vegetarian Menu: Ravioli tossed with marinara sauce, topped with Parmesan cheese, and garnished with basil. Served with garlic toast.
