This is a 4 part series with Alise Kelehan, FSCP with New York Life. During this series, we will dive into ways to create financial stability and understand investing. In the third session, we will learn about how to plan for retirement and estate planning. With the lifespan of women extending longer than men (generally), it is incredibly important for us to plan for retirement properly. In this session, we will learn how to calculate how much money we will need to retire and what sources we can expect the income to come from. In addition, we will discuss how estate planning is not just for the wealthy. It is truly for everyone. After spending so much time reflecting and planning our financial goals and plans, we should also plan for when we are no longer here. We will briefly discuss various tools you can utilize to make sure your wishes are made clear. THIS SERIES IS OPEN TO WOMEN ONLY. We want to create a space where everyone attending feels comfortable to ask questions and grow. We encourage attendees to make every effort to attend all four sessions. Each session builds on the other. More about Our Speaker: Carmen Alise Kelehan works with New York Life Insurance Company. She specializes in Financial Planning for female professionals and entrepreneurs. She is a Louisiana native, raised in Slidell. She consults with more than 50 small business owners in the New Orleans and surrounding areas. Alise is extremely passionate about helping others attain long-term financial security and wants to help arm more women with the best tools possible to make the smartest decisions with their money. She has been working in the financial industry for over 6 years and is designated as a Financial Services Certified Professional through the American College of Business. She has a Bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi and is currently working to attain other designations as a Chartered Financial Consultant and Certified Financial Planner. She will also be attending Tulane University of New Orleans in the Spring to attain her Professional Masters of Business Administration.
