I am seeking musicians fluent in Grateful Dead music. Must be excellent, experienced and advanced players. Need players who have studied how the Dead approach music... the feel, the magic, cosmic exploration into new realms of musical reality. I am a bass player from the Chicago, Il. area and have played with many of the best dead bands in and around Chicago. I have played bass for 40 years and have played and studied Phil Lesh's playing style and played dead music since 1983. I am seeking a lead guitar player who has the skill, uniqueness and magic of Jerry Garcia. A rhythm player who has the skill and versatility of Bob Weir. A keyboard player who is fluent with the playing style of Brent Midland. And a drummer or two with great timing and skill to hold the band together and make people want to dance. Lead guitar and rhythm must have great singing voices and would be nice if other players can sing also. Please, advanced and skilled players need only reply to this ad.
