We’re a fast paced, collaborative, coffee-centric company offering the potential for rapid professional growth and development. We're looking for a part-time Warehouse Associate to support our logistics, warehousing and production teams in Beltsville, Maryland. You would be supporting the Warehouse and Supply Chain Lead in the completion of essential brewery, warehousing and logistics tasks. Potential for a full-time position is available depending on the individual & the companies needs. There may also be opportunities to have exposure to our delivery or production operations in the future if you're a good fit If this sounds like you, please apply via this ad or by submitting your resume to careers @commonwealthjoe.com About You * Previous warehousing or fulfillment experience is a plus, but not required. * You enjoy working with people and have the ability to maintain positive and professional relationships. * You are punctual & task oriented with a high attention to detail. * You are able to communicate to management & other team members clearly. * You are energetic and flexible. Depending on demand, work can range from 8 to 12 hours on any given day. * You are interested in learning and receiving on the job training in new fields of work. * You thrive in a flexible work culture and are willing to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. * You are able to handle heavy lifting (up to 60-100 lbs) and are willing to physically load and unload vehicles. * General warehousing, forklift & pallet jack experience are a plus, however not required. We will be providing forklift certifications and on the job training for all required tasks. Essential Functions * Show up on time consistently for every scheduled shift. * Load local delivery vehicles and long haul trucks in mornings & throughout the day. * Ensure product and equipment quality is to the Commonwealth Joe standard. * Strap palletized products (kegs, boxes and others) with poly-strapping tools for outbound shipments. * Wrap palletized products (kegs, boxes and others) with stretch wrap for outbound shipments. * Label, maintain & organize incoming and outbound products. * Receive and maintain accurate logs of inventory along with inbound & outbound truck shipments. * Diagnose, repair and replace key parts of Commonwealth Joe kegerators as needed. * Wash kegs for shifts when needed. * Assist other departments such as production when needed. * Assist management with innovation strategies and in improving all aspects of standard operating procedures.
