Low Voltage & AV Technician An Audio Video company located near Plano/Frisco area looking for a technician to expand their team. Schedule will be flexible. Job Duties: *Run low voltage (Cat6, Speaker) cables in new construction and retrofit applications *Test and troubleshoot cable runs *Install in-wall and in-ceiling speakers *Mount TVs *Assemble AV racks and connecting the components as per the wiring diagrams/instructions *Install & troubleshoot home automation devices Key Qualifications: *High School Diploma is a must *2 years of experience in relevant field *Valid Driver’s License *Pass a nationwide background check and drug screening *Must be able to lift 80lbs *Can climb ladders, crawl in tight spaces, kneel/sit/stand or bend for long periods of time *Able to work in all outdoor conditions *Must be reliable and dependable with good work ethics *Experience installing Home Alarm Security Panels & components is a plus *Experience with any home automation system like Control4, Savant, Lutron will be a plus *Optional - have a reliable work truck or van
