Description

As much as we hate to do this, we're re-homing our mini Australian Shepherd. My husband and I have had her since she was a puppy, her name is Roo, she was born June 21st 2016, which makes her 6 years old, she is house broke, never has been an outside dog but loves going outdoors especially swimming at the lake, she follows basic commands, has had her tail docked, and is not fixed. She also has been raised with other dogs but not been around cats. Reason we're needing to re-home is because we no longer feel comfortable with her around our baby since he's been crawling around. She's recently has started growling at him, it makes us uncomfortable and we're worried she may end up biting him. She has never bitten anyone before but we don't want to take any chances, especially with our baby. Our son is the first baby she's been around but she had plenty of time to get use to him considering he's 10 months old almost 11 months old. Our son doesn't even need to be crawling near her and she'll watch him and start giving doing "warning" growls. We have tried to correct her on the issue and it hasn't worked. She does good around older children though, I know this because when me and my husband got together he had a child who was 11 at the time. I think she would be fine in a home with kids maybe 5 and up as long as they have an understanding of how to treat a dog. We are asking a re-homing fee of $250 as we want to ensure she'll go to a good home. If interested please text me at , Thank you.
