Hiring plumber to fix broken faucet today

I have a bathroom faucet which was working fine yesterday with only a small leak. A plumber tried to fix the leak, but now the faucet doesn't work at all. They are telling me the parts need to be replaced, so I am looking for a second opinion... Will pay good hourly rate for it to be fixed today (Tues) or tomorrow (Wed). Please let me know your experience, availablility today/tomorrow, and rate. Thank you.
