CUSTOMER SERVICE & EQUIPMENT COORDINATOR L-Acoustics is dedicated to innovation and product design excellence, and we shape the future of sound with technologies that enable audio professionals and artists to elevate the listener experience. The L-Acoustics, Inc. team is looking for a Customer Service & Equipment Coordinator for the company’s head office location in Westlake Village California. This position will leverage their established technical expertise and experience in the Pro AV industry to support both our Service Department (component level inspection, diagnosis, repair and testing of L-Acoustics amplifier and speaker products) as well as to assist with the general maintenance of our Westlake Village office demo spaces. In addition, this position will support both Applications and Product Marketing departments with the movement and maintenance of the company’s loan inventory. Using comprehensive knowledge of our products, the candidate will provide a vital technical support link within our customer service department by providing technical level support to our customers both internal and external. Principle Responsibilities: The Customer Service & Equipment Coordinator will: - Effectively represent the L-ACOUSTICS brand, its values and corporate culture. - Work with teams around the world to deploy latest demo configuration at WLV office per team recommendations. - Be responsible for troubleshooting, testing, updating and repairing amplifiers and speakers. - Prepare written service case documentation and data entry into CRM / ERP system. - Apply technical knowledge of electronic principles to solve basic problems using diagrams, schematics, engineering data and test equipment. - Diagnose equipment malfunctions and effects repairs to restore equipment to required operating conditions. - Provide technical assistance to customers via phone or email on L-Acoustics amplifier products and speaker products as needed. - Organize equipment for shipment to and from events / tradeshows - Maintain demo spaces both electronically and with regards to their configuration. - Troubleshoot to the component level and make needed repairs. - Assist with the development and improvement of customer service department processes, documentation and procedures. Skills & Education Background: - At least two years experience working in the Pro AV market - Basic knowledge of professional audio systems - Soldering skills - Basic computer and networking knowledge - Carpentry and other construction knowledge would be a plus - 4 years hands on experience as an electronics repair technician. - Must have good understanding of electronics theory and test equipment used for testing/repairing electronic equipment. - Proficiency in bench level/troubleshooting electronic equipment Requirements: - Applicant must live near the Westlake Village CA head office location - Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship. - Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle - Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and stand for long periods of time
