Apply at: Benefits: • Competitive wages • Paid Training – No Experience Required! • Company uniforms provided • Take Along Dental Option Position Overview: The Security Escort is responsible to safely and efficiently escort contractors and non-employees through the AOA/sterile areas of Newark International Airport. The Security Escort is responsible for daily documentation/recording and for the overall facility housekeeping and general cleanliness of the Escort vehicles. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):  Accompany and supervise any individual who does not have unescorted access authority.  Accompany and supervise vehicles without local airport plates and drivers who do not have an Airport ID with driver privileges.  Emergency notification and response, to ensure a professional secure environment for the public, employees, client, etc.;  Protect property, prevent and reduce losses and crimes against the employer’s business or other organizations and institutions;  Uphold the laws of the TSA and the Port Authority including challenging individuals on the AOA or SIDA areas;  Maintain constant surveillance of assigned areas providing maximum visibility;  Responsible for the care and control of radios, keys and other equipment assigned. Required Skills and Abilities:  Must be able to communicate, speak, read and understand English;  Perform a variety of security, safety, and customer services duties and related functions of a security guard such as access control, emergency notification & response, to ensure a professional secure environment for the public, employees, client, etc.;  Provide appropriate assistance as needed to clients, their employees, guests, and visitors in an expedient and professional manner;  To act in a courteous and professional manner with customers, potential customers, suppliers, and vendors to Inland; Certifications/Licenses/Security Clearance: • High school diploma or equivalent; • Valid US Driver’s License; • Must be able to pass 10-year background check for airport security clearance; • Provide most recent Drivers Abstract (clean driving record) *Full Job Description available upon request* Apply at:
