Experienced Landscape Irrigation Technician - Irrigation System Winterizing/Blowouts in Manhattan and Brooklyn NYC, New York Duties/Experience/Requirements: - Knowledge of locating and operating shut-off valves inside apartments, condos, townhomes, and basements of larger buildings. - Experienced with detaching plumbing from source water, blowing water out of solenoid valves/filters/lines, removing and storing batteries, securing all components to prevent any water damage from freezing temperatures. - Reasonably decent English speaking/texting. Pleasant, professional demeanor in interactions with customers and building staff. - Record Keeping on Slack app (easy to learn). Upload pictures and write a quick text for each customer site visit to track activity and to access previous messages detailing where to find valves and other useful, time-saving information. If you have your own compressor and fittings you are familiar with using, all the better. You will be invited to our Google Calendar where your appointment will be lined up for you and pre-authorized for access. Can be full time for November, we can work around your timing if you only have certain days available. It would be great to have you care for our Winterizing every season. Next season we will have startups, maintenance, repairs, and new installations. All the locations are generally Manhattan below 92nd and Downtown Brooklyn/Prospect Park with a few exceptions.
