Seeking experienced bird owners for parrot rehoming

Hi I am seeking an experienced bird owner to take my dads two parrots for free. We just want them to go to a good home where they'll be taken care of as my parents are getting older. One is a yellow naped Amazon named Jerry who is about 10 years old or so and the other is an African ringneck named Buddy who is about 4. They are bonded and will need to stay together. The Amazon is very big and he does bite, we've been trying to work with him for years but he is still pretty aggressive. He was a rescue so we aren't sure what his home life before was like but he has been very temperamental. The ringneck will sit on your shoulder from time to time but they both prefer independence over anything. The Amazon will not let you hold him, so I wanted to be upfront that these are not cuddly birds and will bite. They do really well with dogs, cats, really any animal and like to come down and investigate what's happening from time to time. We don't keep them locked in their cages, they stay opened so they are able to roam the house but they usually stay on their perch or cage. They do have an outdoor cage as well and will need to continue to have access to the outdoors on a daily basis. They will come with everything including two heavy duty big cages, lots of toys, food, ect. We will only be rehoming to experienced bird owners AFTER a home check and vet references as my dad is extremely selective about where they go. Please email me if interested!
