Yo- I'm a guitar player who just moved back to the area looking to start a thrash band in the North OC area. Idea for the band would be 2 guitars, bass, drums, and open to the idea of a frontman. So far every slot is available, hit me up if that sounds interesting to you. Ideal age range early 20s-early 30s, but if youre a crusty old shredder im not at all opposed to that either (im 28).
Looking to play some more old school thrash stuff (ie Megadeth, early Metallica, etc) but also open to a sludgier/garage/doom metal vibe if thats what you are more into. The idea is to start out with some covers but over time have most of the catalog be originals (I have like 300 riff ideas recorded on my phone). Doesn't need to be anything overly professional, just looking to crack some beers and jam some heavy shit and eventually play some of the local venues. Who knows where it could go from there.
