Albuquerque apartment rents are out of control. Join us as we fight to enact laws to protect renters from abuse, neglect and price gouging. October 17th, 5pm Civic Plaza, the People's Housing Project is petitioning City Council to enact language to push State Legislators to enact Rent Control to stop the insane rise of rents and abuses we are experiencing. Among many other items, we are working to stop senseless greed driven fees, blocks to renting, building oversite and repairs, ending homelessness, and over all restoring the rights of tenants and increasing protections for renters. We need to pack Civic Plaza with supporters, we have an historic opportunity to protect renters in New Mexico from abuse, evictions, slumlords, and skyrocketing rents. Please share this event, invite friends and family, make signs, bring water and snacks and help in our ongoing fight for Justice. We are looking for thousands to attend.
