Cultivation Associate Job Description The Plant Factory is a family-owned Marijuana Cultivation and Processing facility that is looking for candidates to help build our brand. We are looking for candidates that are interested in a career and long-term commitment with opportunity for advancement. The Cultivation Associates will be working side by side with ownership and are responsible for assisting with all aspects of the company's cultivation operation from seed to harvest. Essential functions: • Support Director of Cultivation from seed to packaging including - planting, watering, pruning, and trimming • Assist in monitoring and documenting plant growth • Assist in propagation of new clones • Assist during harvesting as well as flipping the rooms for the next harvest • Assist in record keeping through METRC • Maintain cleanliness of entire property in particular grow rooms • Perform light maintenance and repairs around the property and in the building • Perform duties assigned by your manager within the expected timeframe Qualifications Education: High School diploma/GED Experience: Experience is preferred but we will train the right candidate Competencies/Additional Requirements include: • This is a full-time, year-round position • Attention to detail • Effective communication skills • Strong work ethic • Willingness to learn • Must ensure a clean work environment as well as good personal hygiene • Ability to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time (i.e., trimming plants, potting, and regular inventory). • Physical requirements include standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing carts, transferring water, carrying flats and pots. • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays with notice • Must be at least 21 years old • Must pass background check
