ISO Assistant Horse Ranch Manager/helper/Trainer (will teach) -- DRAMA FREE ENVIRONMENT ! (Fired previous helper today... today is ONE DAY A YEAR not to be an hour late. Sheep breeding morning....she knew...was an hour late and didn't care.... grrr.) The quiet foals are heres. Location is West side of Burleson. (Also have exotic lambs and three Yak babies). I need help weekdays from 8 am to about 11 or 12... 2 - 4 days a week. "Could" be more hours if proven horse training background... on the ground, not riding. STRONG preference for someone with experience with HORSES, livestock, or at least ranch work. It's not "pet the pretty ponies all day." No riding. All in-hand on the ground with young stock. We also run a therapy program for Veterans and others. You must be professional. Please don't apply if you can't make it to work. This has been a problem recently. This isn't a "hobby", but a fun, busy, active working ranch. Repeat - NO PERSONAL DRAMA ! (Thanks) NO weekends. Pay is cash, hourly depending on skills... bonuses paid. Position will work side by side with me and involve barn chores such as stall cleaning, water buckets filled, some grooming, helping me handle new foals and new lambs. Training of young horses. MUST: 1. References. 2. Reliable transportation 3. No child care issues/family drama. 4. Live within 20 minutes of Burleson 5. Cheery upbeat personality ! This is a fun place to work.
