This person will be responsible for supporting fabrication of consumable product within the production line operations. 8-hour shift Monday through Friday - Morning shift and Night shift! Essential Functions: Prepares product for shipment by identifying, pulling, processing, packing, loading, and securing product by means of defined procedures. Lifts boxes and/or removes product for processing including to manipulate and/or use knives or other tools requiring fine manipulation. Verifies items received by checking identifying information of items; inspecting condition of items; comparing count/measure of items to order and packing list following established procedures. Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory utilizing recognized practices. Locates materials and supplies through inventory control mechanisms operating under established processes. Maintains status of staged orders by logging orders and material movement. Documents product shipment by recording units shipped utilizing defined processes. Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; appropriately operates and requests repairs as needed. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Maintains a safe working environment by following safety rules and regulations. Support assigned duties of the plant manager to assist in the business of the facility. Keeps work area clean from debris by sweeping, mopping and other housekeeping duties Meets attendance requirements Other duties as assigned and as business necessitates Required Skills: Employee is regularly required to stand, walk. Effectively handle lifting, pushing, pulling up to 60 pounds frequently Frequently required to bend, twist, use hands to finger, handle, control and climb or balance, reach with hands and arms. Use of tools including knives and box cutters While performing the essential functions of this job, the associate will work occasional prolonged work schedules with exposure to wet, cold (35-degree environment), and noise.
