DV Warehouse is an online retailer for Apple Computers & Parts, centrally located here in Hollywood Media District, and we’re looking for a responsible shipping clerk to help manage our warehouse & outgoing daily shipments. Your job will include packing Apple component parts, computers, as well as receive in-bound shipments. You will be responsible for creating airway bills for all out-bound shipments using Fedex or USPS systems to create shipping labels and to ensure all orders get processed in a timely manner. We’ll gladly provide training for the right candidate, more importantly we’re looking for personal eager to learn and enjoy having a steady full time job. The ideal candidate must also have adequate physical strength to unload shipments as well as the clerical skills to update records and follow up with the sales team or management. The goal is to ensure orders are packed well and create the appropriate airway bill for each shipment. Responsibilities • Collaborate with the sales team to get orders out on a daily basis • Receive shipments and sign for packages • Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged • Verify packages according to our PO’s (model, quantity, price etc.) • Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements • Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control Requirements and skills • Past experience working as a shipping clerk is a plus • Experience working in a warehouse • Basic computer skills to use a standard PC • understanding in running a warehouse • Excellent organizational skills • Great communication and interpersonal abilities • Keen eye for detail • Good physical condition • High School Diploma or equivalent
