Job Responsibilities: Door to door canvassing in Anaheim. Qualifications: The canvasser position is an entry-level position. No experience with canvassing is necessary. Successful applicants, however, will have the following characteristics: -Punctual and reliable -Good communication skills -Outgoing personality -Enjoys meeting and talking to people -Energetic and enthusiastic -Committed to advancing immigrants’ rights and workers’ rights -Interested in/passionate about voting and civic participation -We take the health and safety of our team very seriously. Must be vaccinated or willing to get vaccinated before starting for the safety of yourself and those you will be working with Our current canvass schedule is as follows (all times are subject to change): Saturday: 9-5:30pm Sunday-Friday: 11-7:30pm Terms of Employment: -The Community Canvasser position is a full-time position (part-time options available, minimum 3 shifts/week) -Must be willing to work evenings and weekends -Pay begins at $25/hr -The Community Canvasser position is a temporary position from now until November 8, 2022. -Canvassers with interest and demonstrated capacity will also have the opportunity for promotion to leadership positions on our canvass team.
