Hi! I’m Cassie. Thank you for being here. After a couple of years of hibernation and healing I feel compelled to jump back into the world of birth. I’d love to get to know you and vice versa! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✨ One question I won’t answer anymore is about my “birth philosophy.” Why? It's as simple as this: *your* birth is not about *me.* My goal, as a doula, is to make sure you have the tools to facilitate the birth *you* want - not the births that *I* had and certainly not the birth I *think* you should have. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✨ I'm not a "homebirth-only" doula or a "midwife-only" doula. I don't discriminate! In all seriousness: I want EVERY person who wants birth support via a doula to get it - regardless of their choice/lack of choice regarding care provider or birth place... and I really believe that people birthing with an OB are some of the ones needing doula support the most. I'm like a chameleon - easily adaptable to your environment 😉 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✨ I want every birthing person to have a little healthy ‘tude about their birth. Be sassy. Be confident. Be vocal. Be informed. Ask questions. Then re-phrase the question and ask it again. Listen to your intuition.
