We have male and female black labs, approx. one year old, that were dropped off near our property several weeks ago. They were starving so we fed them, and they have remained. We don’t want to keep them. We don’t have a fenced in yard and there are other wild critters in the woods surrounding our property. They are sweet, affectionate dogs, but we really aren’t able to keep them. The female had a limp, so we took her to a vet. They said she has a broken leg and should have surgery. However, it doesn’t seem to keep her from running and playing all she wants, and she doesn’t seem to be in pain. I have called several agencies for help and was told that they are too full to take them.
